Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training

Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (QCF) replaces the Level 4 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) introduced in 2007 and updated in 2011. The Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (QCF) qualification is regulated by Ofqual. It provides training for individuals who aspire to, or hold, a teaching role with an extensive range of teaching or training responsibilities, including those in more than one context i.e. further, higher, adult or community education or work-based learning. This qualification has been specifically designed for the 19+ age groups, this certificate is designed to equip a wide range of teachers/trainers and facilitators with the requisite skills and knowledge required to fulfil a teaching role. The course content covers planning, delivery, assessment and the use of resources. You will also gain teaching delivery skills and participate in microteaching sessions; evaluation skills and techniques also form part of the course content. This qualification provides a sound introduction to teaching/training and is suitable for both experienced practitioners who would like to secure a professionally recognised qualification as well as those new to teaching.
